The event was attended by the 6th Student Guard Squad from “Hristo Botev” Secondary School – Aytos.
In 1903, a congress of the Adrianople Revolutionary District of VMRO was held at “Petrova Niva.” During this congress, the plan for the uprising activities in the area was developed.
A memorial service was held at the “St. Petka” monument church for the fallen participants of the Preobrazhenie Uprising. The event is under the patronage of President Rumen Radev.
The Vice President Iliana Iotova and the interim Minister of Defense Dimitar Stoyanov, who reviewed the honor guard during the ceremonial fireworks inspection, attended the event.
Dimitar Stoyanov highlighted the heroism of those who sacrificed their lives for the liberation and unity of Bulgaria.
