“The Youth Guard Detachments” have been established to promote the voluntary gathering of young people with an interest in preserving the sources of our national dignity, self-confidence, and patriotism. Their main goal is to organize more patriotic events in Bulgaria, as well as to preserve and enrich the tradition of student fanfare and brass bands.
Through the squads, we encourage children and young people to express themselves and showcase their creative abilities by participating in representative and official ceremonies, as well as military rituals. This way, they maintain their patriotic motivation and affirm the Bulgarian national identity and statehood. The association is an autonomous, non-military, non-governmental, non-political, voluntary, patriotic, and cultural community of young people interested in preserving our national dignity.
The establishment of the Youth Guard Detachments is under the patronage of the President of the Republic of Bulgaria, supported by the Ministry of Defense and the National Guard Unit.
