President Rumen Radev visited Aytos to commemorate the 184th anniversary of Vasil Levski’s birth. Accompanied by the regional governor of Burgas, Prof. Maria Neykova, and the mayor of Aytos, Vasil Edev, he visited the Orthodox church “St. Dimitar” and laid flowers at the Apostle’s memorial plaque. In the churchyard, the officials were greeted by the ranks of the Sixth Student Guard Unit from “Hristo Botev” High School in Aytos. Rumen Radev personally greeted the young guards and expressed his admiration for their dedication. He reminded them that the most important thing is to remember Levski’s legacy and to love their homeland.
