The President congratulated the 2nd Student Guard Squad of “Dr. Petar Beron” Primary School in Pleven.

“It is my pleasure to welcome you on the occasion of the establishment of the second student guard unit in the country—a patriotic initiative dedicated to keeping alive the aspiration to preserve our history and maintain Bulgarian traditions and values,” states President Rumen Radev in his congratulatory address.

They blessed the flag of the first student guard unit in Pleven.

The flag of the country’s second student guard unit, established just days ago at Dr. Petar Beron Primary School, was blessed and handed over in a solemn ceremony at the Military Club hall in Pleven today. The ceremony was conducted in accordance with an old royal tradition.

Burgas now also has a student guard unit and orchestra.

At an official ceremony attended by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense Krasimir Karakachanov, Mayor Dimitar Nikolov, Regional Governor Valcho Cholakov, Chief of Defense Lieutenant General Andrey Botsev, His Eminence Metropolitan Ioanikiy of Sliven, and representatives of the Burgas clergy, the flag of the fourth student guard unit from PGE “Konstantin Fotinov” in Burgas was blessed.

The commander of the National Guard Unit, Colonel Kyncho Ivanov, presented the flag to the First Children’s Guard Unit at “Maya” kindergarten during an official ceremony in Plovdiv.

Madelene Radukanova and Nayden Todorov gifted special VIP cards.

The Bulgarian brand “TEODOR” supports graduates from the youth guard squads.

Sports stars Ivet Goranova, Stanimira Petrova, Ivaylo Ivanov, and Hristo Hristov were honored with the prestigious “Honorary Torchbearer of Peace” award.

The First Student Guards Wind Orchestra participated in the Third Brass Band Festival in Pleven, the Brass Band Fest “From Bay Diko to ‘Tico, Tico'” in Pleven.
