Young people from across the country are participating in the innovative youth camp “Change Begins with Me.” The event is part of the project “The Young People of Bulgaria – Opportunities for Creative Development,” implemented by the Association “Youth Guard Units,” with financial support from the Erasmus+ Program, project № 2024-3-BG01-КА154-YOU-000288013. The main goal of the initiative is to promote the personal and creative development of young people through innovative approaches, non-formal education, active teamwork, and inspiring meetings with figures from public, cultural, and sports life.
The project began with team-building games, where the young participants shared their personal stories and exchanged messages with one another. They were joined by Mariana Shoteva, the Chair of the Administrative Court in Plovdiv, who spoke about her professional journey and expressed her satisfaction with the interaction at the camp. Judge Shoteva also held a discussion and workshop with some of the students on the topic “Say ‘No’ to nitrous oxide balloons, ‘Yes’ to balloons for fun.”
The project organizers, represented by Dr. Denislava Angelova, the president of the “Youth Guard Units” Association, introduced the boys and girls to the goals and spirit of the event. In the coming days, the youths will engage in discussions about business with a cause, participate in a team culinary challenge, join the youth forum “Our Voice Matters,” and train with some of Bulgaria’s greatest champions.
