On the next day of our adventure, we started with drill training led by Sergeant Dimitar Borisov. With each passing day, we are getting closer to understanding the values of the Guards. After this physical activity, it was time to stimulate our minds with a lecture on the history of Bulgaria and Romania, their guard units, symbols, and their significance. The Romanian history teacher’s engaging presentation style contributed to gaining new knowledge. We took a short break for lunch to recharge for one of our most important activities, which was related to leadership. The session included a lecture followed by a debate, and we concluded with interactive games. We learned a valuable lesson about aligning actions and words, defending personal positions, and expressing opinions. To be a leader, you must not follow others or let different viewpoints impose on yours; if you can do that, you will surely succeed in life. A short coffee break allowed us to gather our thoughts and focus on the next topic — the comfort zone. Each of us shared ideas about our future development and participation in new initiatives. Our evening activity today included presenting the cultural features of the countries participating in the youth exchange. It was incredibly interesting!
