Travelogues from the project “YOUNG PEOPLE AND SOCIAL INCLUSION IN THE MULTICULTURAL CITY” – Part VIII

DAY 8 The day began with drill training to improve coordination. We continued with a walk through Kaylaka Park, where we exchanged ideas. After a quick lunch, we held a roundtable discussion about understanding differences. The program included a presentation on empathy towards different goals, characters, and perspectives, which helped us enhance our orientation to the changing environment. We took a short break, after which a military vehicle and an ambulance arrived. We engaged in three physical challenges with a competitive spirit. The first task was to assemble a military tent, with teams of twenty people each. The first ten assembled it, while the rest disassembled it. The goal was for the team captain to allocate tasks efficiently to minimize downtime. The second competition involved running, somersaulting, and throwing practice grenades. It was extremely interesting as we learned to focus, use every skill we had, and developed determination, self-control, and persistence. Later, we explored the cultural life of Pleven and its unique aspects. The day, filled with numerous activities, ended with smiles and many new lessons learned.
