The Youth Guard units visited the National Guard section.

The youths from the II Student Guard Brass Band from Burgas, the III Youth Guard Squad from the “Ivan Vazov” Language High School in Smolyan, the IV Squad from the Professional High School of Electrical Engineering and Electronics “Konstantin Fotinov” in Burgas, the V Student Guard Squad from “Otets Paisiy” Primary School in Batak, the VI Squad from “Hristo Botev” Secondary School in Aytos, and the I Children’s Guard Squad from the “Maya” Kindergarten in Plovdiv visited the National Guard Unit. The young guards were welcomed by the Commander of the Guard, Colonel Kuncho Ivanov. Afterwards, the band and part of the guards participated in the hoisting of the Bulgarian and European flags. The professional guards demonstrated to their young successors the post and ceremony for the festive May 9th – Europe Day, with the aim of practically teaching them the nuances of conducting official events. The youths were extremely impressed by the spirit, resilience, and patriotism of the guards. The “Youth Guard Squads” Association and Mr. Plamen Manolov presented soccer balls and cones to the National Guard Unit and wished the representative soccer team further successes.
