In the context of the excellent bilateral relations between Bulgaria and Montenegro, and considering the extensive activities and projects of the Association “Touch the Rainbow” and the Organization “Youth Guard Units for a Better Life for Children and Youth from Bulgaria and Various Countries Around the World,” we are pleased, together with H.E. Jelena Filipović-Stoyanov, Ambassador of Montenegro to Bulgaria, to announce a joint initiative—a Mentorship Program under the motto “The Youth of Bulgaria and Montenegro – A Bridge for New Opportunities.”
The main goal of the Program will be to inspire and encourage the thousands of young people with whom the Association and the Organization work, through monthly meetings with the youth of Bulgaria. The mentoring program also plans to set various goals and tasks for self-improvement and acquiring new skills for the young people, which they will complete via video link.
The mentoring program will be implemented as a joint initiative running from January to April 2024. During the spring break for students in Bulgaria in April, selected participants will visit Montenegro to exchange cultural practices and traditions.
Upon their return to Bulgaria, the young people will share their impressions of the visit to Montenegro. To this end, special meetings will be organized in their schools.
The initiative “Mentorship Program under the motto ‘The Youth of Bulgaria and Montenegro – A Bridge for New Opportunities'” will be an excellent example of international cooperation in the field of youth.
