
From October 6-12, 2025, a specialized training for youth workers took place in Plovdiv as part of a project with registration number 2025-1-BG01-KA151-YOU-000297794, implemented under the Erasmus+ Program, within the accreditation of the Association “Youth Guard Units.”
The event brought together teachers, IT specialists, psychologists, and representatives from the judicial system, who combined their expertise to support modern youth work. The cross-sector approach focused on the challenges faced by young people in the digital era and the need for coordinated actions between educational, technological, and legal institutions.
Thematic Focus: Youth in the Digital and Civil Society

The training program was structured into five innovative thematic modules:
- Digital Culture and Cyber Ethics
• Online Safety and Cyberbullying Prevention
• Digital Rights and Responsibilities
• Working with youth in a social media environment - Artificial Intelligence and Youth Work
• Practical Application of AI Tools in Education
• Identifying Misinformation and Fake News
• Development of Critical Thinking - Justice and Prevention of Juvenile Delinquency
• Early Intervention and Restorative Justice
• Working with youth in conflict with the law
• Case simulations involving representatives of the judicial system - Psychological Resilience in a Digital Environment
• The Impact of Screen Time on Mental Health
– Support during online pressure and social isolation
• Practices for Building Personal Stability - STEAM and Social Innovations
• Technologies in the Service of Society
• Development of youth mini-projects
• Gamification and Experiential Learning
Practical results
During the training, participants developed prototypes of educational campaigns, digital tools for working with youth, and institutional partnership models. Working groups were established for sustainable collaboration between schools, the IT sector, and the judicial system.
The training emphasized the importance of prevention, digital literacy, and legal culture as key factors for the successful integration and development of young people.
