The “Youth Guard Squads Association” was founded on April 26, 2018, by Dr. Denislava Angelova, Nikolay Antonov, and Alexandra Rimpopova. The goal of the Association is to revive patriotic feelings in the younger generation and to instill a sense of love for Bulgarian history and traditions in children. The interaction with the guard uniform, which is a relic in our history and present, encourages children to wear and respect it, as well as to learn from it.
The establishment of numerous youth guard units is presented to people who are changing their environment and believe that this cause is worthwhile and should be expanded. Spectators view each event featuring the young guards as an expression of statehood and national pride. This motivates us to take up this cause and work for it as long as there are supporters.
