The Tourism High School is an attractive center for young people seeking a quality education and a secure pathway to professional development. Its graduates represent the face of the tourism industry. Students gain practical skills in real-world settings through internships in hotels, restaurants, travel agencies, and retail chains. The school maintains active connections with tourism organizations, companies, associations, and regional councils such as the Bulgarian Tourist Chamber, the Association of Schools for Restaurant Management and Hospitality, and the Federation of Bakers and Confectioners in Bulgaria, as well as the Bulgarian Associations of Professional Chefs, Bartenders, and Sommeliers. Special attention is given to foreign language learning, computer literacy, and business communications.
The high school is an associate member of the Cambridge Schools Association in Bulgaria. It successfully participates in various national and European programs. It has twice received the “Global School” award in 2015 and 2018. It is also a recipient of the “Jan Amos Comenius” prize for 2020.
The students from the Tourism High School win top places in national competitions and contests in the fields of history, literature, and entrepreneurship. They claimed first place in the National Competition for Hospitality and Tourism Animation, in the “Young Animator” category, and have notable successes in both regional and national rounds of professional competitions. A student from the school won the UniChef Junior 2019 title for all of Bulgaria. Their achievements in language learning are also remarkable, with awards from the Cambridge competitions and the global School Enterprise Challenge.
